Jon Stinson - Producer, Recordist, Mix Engineer, Writer, Entrepreneur
I’ve had the fortune of being a part of projects such as, Kings Of Leon (Only By The Night), Norah Jones (The Fall), and The Features (Contrast EP, Some Kind of Salvation). I've also had the privilege to work along side producers and engineers like Jacquire King, Nathan Chapman, Roger Moutenot, and David Thoener. I've worked on records released by labels including, EMI, Tooth and Nail, RCA, and Dangerbird. And during my stint as one of three assistant engineers/house engineers at Quad Recording Studios in Nashville, TN, I got to work along side many other artists (Taylor Swift, Phil Vassar), musicians (Brent Mason, Craig Krampf) producers (Greg Archilla, Bil VornDick), and engineers (Chad Carlson, George Tutko). All this has yielded an extraordinary learning experience that I carry forward in a career of making records.
For various reasons (sometimes on purpose, sometimes not), you may have seen me credited in a variety of ways including, Jon Stinson, John Stinson, Jonathan Stinson, or simply stinson. Be assured that all these variations, indeed, refer to me.
